A re-enactment and interpretation of the May Day tradition of milk maids dancing through London, soliciting money from their customers. The maids were usually accompanied by garlands of silverware.
The two maidens in this performance offered a choice of two Morris jigs: The Nutting Girl or Lumps of Plum Pudding. Also on the menu was Milk from the Jug or Milk from the Spoon, poured from a great height to enhance its frothiness.
